We Think This Is a Great Way to Celebrate Earth Day

How would we even know that this planet is a planet, without we've been informed by the methods of science?

How would we even find such a terrific celebration on a Tuesday night, without we've been invited – and everyone is invited! – to this lively Earth Day shindig that doubles as a grand opening event for the ever-industrious Art.Science.Gallery.?

Now, yes, that gallery has been open for a while in their venue that's part of Big Medium's impressive Canopy compound, over there next to Blue Genie Art Industries. (And their current exhibition, Geo____, is a terrific show of work.) But: They haven't had an official housewarming party until now. And, because it is Earth Day, after all, Art.Science.Gallery. will be joined by such science-forward groups as Austin Mini Maker Faire and Austin Astronomical Society and Dorkbot and Girlstart and Little Herds and BiomimicryTX and more to present this evening in celebration of the big blue ball of rock and water that sustains us.

This evening? Yes: Tuesday, April 22nd, from 6-9pm.
Right there in #102 at Canopy, 916 Springdale.

See you there!

[Addendum: You know who else is sponsoring this party? Treaty Oak Distilling Co. – those local folks who provide the world with such superlative forms of vodka and gin and rum, bringing all the craft of spirited chemistry to bear in the interests of perfectly wetting a thirsty Texan's whistle. Now that's science!]
