This year, organizers of the Pachanga Latino Music Festival are enhancing the event with a special culinary component: VIP passes provide guests the opportunity to enjoy specialty tacos from 10 of Austin's best vendors. The party is May 10 at Fiesta Gardens.

As always, Latin music lovers in the hospitality area will have access (2-10pm) to an air-conditioned lounge, indoor rest rooms, and a private stage in addition to a salsa bar, paletas from Mom & Pop's, and complimentary non-alcoholic drinks, such as aguas frescas.

However, this year's Very Important Taco pass gives guests the option to participate in two specialty taco tastings and cast a vote for the Official Pachanga Taco of 2014. Taco vendors are listed below; look for a complete list of the featured tacos here.

3:30-5:30pm: Dos Batos, Casa Chapala, One Taco, Tacodeli, and El Taquito Sabor Mexico

6:00-8:00pm: Maria's Taco Xpress, La Fogata, El Primo, Mellizoz, and Mighty Bird

Tickets for the VIT package go on sale Monday, March 31 and are $75. There is also a $45 upgrade option for people who have already purchased general admission tickets.
