Golfing for Justice
The EJC is made up of 10 lawyers and legal professionals and 33 UT Law students in the Transnational Workers Rights Clinic working to give low-wage workers unprecedented access to the justice center. Together, they have recovered more than $4 million in unpaid wages. To celebrate that victory, and the past 11 years of service, the EJC is throwing a party.
From 6:30 to 8:30pm, pay $25 ($5 for kids or $10 for students) for a round of golf at Peter Pan Mini-Golf (207 Barton Springs Rd.) and a plate of food from the elusive Franklin Barbecue. For an additional $5, get a bottomless cup of beer, provided by Live Oak Brewery and Whip-In.
If you're unable to attend but still wish to contribute to the cause, you can make a donation via the EJC website.
