What Jew Wanna Eat Blog Is Finalist in National Contest
On a leap of faith, she relocated to Austin and embarked on a new career. After attending Le Cordon Bleu, Amy Kritzer created the What Jew Wanna Eat blog and began teaching cooking classes, sharing her personal renditions of the same authentic, traditional Jewish recipes she learned in Bubbe's kitchen growing up.
Her hard work and creativity are being rewarded. DailyCandy.com has chosen Amy's blog as one of 18 finalists in the annual Start Small, Go Big competition that rewards small businesses in six categories with expert professional mentoring and national publicity. Contest winners are chosen by online vote and the voting period lasts until Friday, August 24th. In order to introduce Amy Kritzer to our readers and help get out the vote, we invited her to share some recipes that are suitable for the upcoming holy days of Rosh Hashanah. Check out Amy's mouth-watering recipes over the next week and vote daily to make sure another Austin food blog is an award winner!
