What is it with Code Pink and their lefty allies in this era always trying to censor people. As Hanlon said ""What is most disturbing to me is the decision by the Planned Parenthood board not only to invite Albright to begin with". Why wouldn't you invite her...she was a Sec of State. If you only want to listen to opinions like your own Ms Hanlon then just call a Code Pink meeting and talk among yourselves. 11-11-2009

Shame on you, Code Pink! by Sherlock | hide/show
Larry S. just wants to pat himself on the back without any guilt! He gets enough guilt from his maids and gardeners who supposedly can't feed their families on $8.00 an hour and his wife who wants a $50,000 expansion on her AMEX! How dare you criticize Madelyn Albright who is an angel on the cupcake of overblown trite shit! God! How dare you! How dare you! 11-11-2009

Sherlock....I don't care if Code Pink criticizes Ms Albright. I am talking about censorship. They were opposed to her speaking. Not sure what your rambling response about maids/gardeners was about. 11-12-2009

is not akin to censorship. CodePink's issue is with Planned Parenthood's choosing her to speak instead of any other female leader that would have the same value system as PP.

Censorship can actually only be conducted by governments and media who have the authority and forums to control mass communication. 11-12-2009

CodePink & Albright by peacemomma | hide/show
CodePink speaks out against all warmongers, whether Republican or Democrat. The shame doesn't fall on CodePink, but those that blindly follow a political party rather than stand up for their true beliefs.

It appears readers are not very familiar with Albright's background. If you think she's so amazing, you might want to go back and look at her history. You may not be so impressed when you see her position on the deaths of 500,000 children because of the sanctions she imposed.

I don't think our disappointment with Planned Parenthood or our request to hand out literature about the devastating effects of war on women could in any way be construed as censorship. Isn't it more likely that CodePink was censored when thrown out of the hotel because we wanted to hand out fliers?

You must be registered to comment. What's the upside?
Here are some ways to look at the bright side of this: 1) you can use a witty screen name that has nothing to do with your real name (as long as no one else has been witty in that exact way before you), 2) you will have to do this only once, and 3) because everyone must register, you'll be able to keep up with your virtual friends and nemeses.  close
