AC: What is it you want to convey to the people?

Christeene: I like to talk about da' things dat I'm sometimes not gettin' in life. Or da' things dat I get a lot of. ... And I like talkin' bout da' things dat make da' people click up in they yee-yons and they boo-taay. People celebrate a celebration of da' bootay.

AC: You collaborate with some hot boys ...

Christeene: Ohh yeah. My boyzz: T-Gravel 'n' C-Baby. I just met dem' at a truck stop or something. Daaay dance wit me. They good. Everybody like them when we go places. They want da' boyzz. We get a little rumpus on stage, and we do touch. And I will expose myself sometimes. They have spit on me, and they will lift me up sometimes.

AC: You came through some tough times to get here, didn't you?

Christeene: Ummmmmmm. Oh that hurricane. Sum Katrina situation and Atlanta, G-A. I lived there ferr six months – something like that. The girls there really taught me how to git downnn. Dirty South. Da' girls are hoochie over there, an' we danced all da' time, and I went to fun places, but I knew dat I had to go bigger places.

AC: Like where?

Christeene: Here. People here have been nice to me. I've been to the Alamo Ritz. I've been to a homosexual festival in a backyard. I've been to a gay bar, the Chain Drive.

AC: Do you know Paul's friend Rebecca?

Christeene: Yea, she was there at that gay party in the backyard. She was nice, and she drinks. A lot. She says silly words. She talk crazy, but everybody like her. They real sweet. We are in the dressing room, and she let me borrow some stuff. She loud though. She talk funny. I don't know where she's from.

AC: Tell us about your music video project.

Christeene: It's my first EP. And I made it wit' friends. And da' video is with Peegeeee. Peegeeee Ravool. Peegeeee so sweet. He's a little man. He's a little kind of Asian baby man like a baby Asian. He so cute I could sell him for money on the market where I cum from.

AC: When does the EP come out?

Christeene: The CD package wit da' video cum out on January 29, an' I'm gunna sing at the bar Elysium. They gonna play my videeeos.

AC: While you perform?

Christeene: No, before I get on. Then they gonna put sum pictures of puppies on there. I love puppies. It's gon' be puppies and videeeos and puppies. Then I'm gonna go on wit my boyzz. I'm gonna do my shit on dat stage, and we're gonna tear it up. Real hard. We ready to burn up that buh-hole.

AC: Break a leg.

Christeene: Fuck you. Don't tell me to break no leg. I need 'em.
