ABIA: Austin Java Airport Coffee House
Regularly voted into our "Best of Austin" and annual restaurant polls, Java fills it to the brim with fortifying salads, sandwiches, breakfast goodies, coffee drinks, and TDF desserts. They host two airport locations, this one being the larger and more central of the two, located directly behind the Highland Lakes Bar. Both feature their signature Hippie Chef Salad and yummy, steamy drinks like the Junior Mint and the Carmel Knowledge.

ABIA: Harlon's Bar-B-Que and Country Breakfast
Yes sirree, this is the same Harlon's as the one on MLK in Houston, as well as in the bayou city's George R. Brown Convention Center, Galleria Mall, and the University of Houston Central Campus. This location serves a full and satisfying breakfast (praise the Lord, and pass the grits!), sandwiches, barbecue by the pound, and yes, even sweet-potato pie.

ABIA: The Salt Lick
Whoa! Déjà vu! This place even looks like the original Salt Lick out in Dripping Springs, complete with its circular stone smoker and links hanging from the iron hood. This Salt Lick begs you to take them with you, with fully prepped, cooked, and packed briskets to-go for $49.95 (or $54.95 with sauce), jars of rub, bottles of sauce and sauce gift packs, T-shirts, and caps. When you reach your final destination, why not open up a little Texas back home?

ABIA: Wok & Roll
This fresh and delectable Asian cuisine is self-served, buffet style, and sold by the pound. We could've made an entire meal just out of their tangy Asian slaw and General Tso's chicken. (Of Austinite interest: These are the folks who used to run Formosa.)

El Pollo Regio
Deeeeeelicious marinated roast chicken, quartered, halfed, or whole, with beans, rice, salsa, and a heavenly hunk of roasted onion, is served from this little cart. Outposts of this popular Texas-based chicken chain are located all across town and the state. Legendary, really.
