Ethan Azarian

As both a visual artist and songwriter, Ethan Azarian is one of Austin’s beloved eccentrics, his amateur style in music and art is sometimes childishly playful and at others movingly poignant. The son of musical folk hero Tom Banjo, Azarian was born and raised in Vermont, eventually moving to Austin in the late-1980s with his notoriously rambunctious band the Hollywood Indians.
