Dreadnaught

1981, NR, 91 min. Directed by Yuen Woo-ping. Starring Yuen Biao, Leung Ka-yan, Kwan Tak-hing, Yuen Cheung-yan.

REVIEWED By Marjorie Baumgarten, Thu., Jan. 4, 2001

Director Yuen Woo-Ping is the action maestro best known on these shores for choreographing the phenomenal action sequences in The Matrix and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. This movie about a psychopathic killer also stars acting legend Kwan Tak-hing, who is seen here in his final film role. Reportedly, Dreadnaught's kung fu laundry scene was copied shot for shot in Batman Forever.
