Drippings Springs Vodka distiller Gary Kelleher will give out samples of his vodka and sign bottles at both Austin Costco outlets on Saturday, April 9. 10401 Research, noon-3pm; 4301 W. William Cannon, 3:30-6:30pm.

Slow Food Austin hosts a farm tour at Sand Creek Farm in Cameron followed by a luncheon at the Monument Cafe in Georgetown. • Chef du Cinema Ron Deutsch presents a four-course Cuban meal paired with a screening of Wim Winders' documentary Buena Vista Social Club at the Central Market Cooking School (4001 N. Lamar, 206-1014). $45; reservations necessary. Saturday, April 9, 6:30-9:30pm.

Lovexotic 2011 presents a global gourmet evening of food, wine, spirits, art, and live entertainment upstairs at the Clay Pit (1601 Guadalupe). This party with a purpose benefits Family by Choice.
