Aztex Blank Houston, Stay Unbeaten
Andres Cuero had two goals and an assist to lead the Austin Aztex past the Houston Dutch Lions Saturday night at House Park. Kris Tyrpak and Aaron Guillen tallied as well, as the Aztex finished a season sweep of the Dutch Lions, 4-0, to remain undefeated and in first place in the PDL Mid South Division.

Two Late Goals Preserve Aztex' Perfect Record
The Austin Aztex scored twice in the last 10 minutes Saturday night in the Woodlands to beat the Houston Dutch Lions, 2-1, and move to 5-0 and hold onto first place in the PDL Mid South division. Next up: The Aztex return to the friendly confines of House Park to take on the El Paso Patriots, at 7:30pm this Saturday, June 15.

Blue-Out
The Austin Aztex are asking their fans to wear blue tonight at House Park, as they try to take back first place in the PDL Mid South from Oklahoma City. Kickoff is at 7:30pm, or gather at The Tavern pre-game and join the march to the stadium around 7pm. Proceeds from the game will go to directly to the Oklahoma Soccer Association’s Tornado Relief Fund.

The USL-PRO Wilmington Hammerheads are in town tonight, the first pro team to play in Austin since 2010. They face the Austin Aztex in a U.S. Open Cup second round game. Three Aztex Players Taken in MLS SuperDraft
Three players off of last year's Austin Aztex roster were among the first 11 picks of today's MLS SuperDraft. Gambian native Kekuta Manneh (Lake Travis High) was taken by the Vancouver Whitecaps with the fourth pick. Midfielder Blake Smith (Boerne, U. of New Mexico) went eighth to Montreal, and Dillon Powers (Plano, Notre Dame) went 11th to Columbus.
