Pro-Wrestling Gets Inspired Again

By Richard Whittaker, October 13, 2013, 12:34pm, The Score

So with a the rain-drenched evacuees from Zilker Park wondering what they'll do tonight with ACL Fest being cancelled, it's a chance to forsake the soaked stage for the squared circle with Inspire Pro Wrestling.

Austin's newest wrestling promotion holds its third event tonight, Oct. 13, as the grapplers separate The Quick and the Dead.

Heading up the card will is the ongoing battle to determine the first ever Inspire champion, as Scot Summers takes on "Absolute" Ricky Starks and Jordan Jensen is a three-way battle in the semifinals. Another title contender will be lacing up his boots as "One Man" Mike Dell fills in for Sean Vexx in his scheduled Japanese strong style bout against Ray "Death" Rowe.

At the other end of the spectrum from the stiff but skillful proruresu, expect an old school, Memphis-style street fight from "The Mind Of Wrestling" JT Lamotta and "Dirty" Andy Dalton. In a last minute announcement, Inspire has brought in Joey Corman, who mentored both men, to oversee what could be the last bout in their bloody and storied feud.

There's also a double dose of tag team action, with the Pump Patrol versus Reign or Shine, and Bolt Brady and Barret Brown against the Dagger Brothers.

Here's a quick sample of what Inspire Pro founder and Red River regular Max Dropout is promising for tonight:
