Last chance to vote in the Texas Rollergirl Whammy awards

Flat-Track Fan Faves

Time to break out the good wheels: Women's Flat Track Derby Association silver medalists the Texas Rollergirls hold their annual Whammy Awards on Jan. 17, The Score will be there to bring you all the results, but you can get involved now by voting in the fan choice categories.

The open categories include awards for favorite bout DJs, halftime bands and announcers, plus you can vote on the hottest, fiercest, and most heartbreaking skater.

In 2008, Rice Rocket dominated most categories: Last year, bastions of the sport Sparkle Plenty and Desi Cration were the big winners. With as strong a TXRG roster as ever, the competition could be tight this year.
