So, it’s Earth Day, and you’re stuck at work. Everyone in the office already recycles, composts, and uses energy saving lightbulbs. What’s an office-bound lover of the planet supposed to do? You can watch a local animated short film about a water-strapped world to get inspired without leaving your desk.
Local animation studio Mighty Coconut has been farming their film, "The Oceanmaker," around the festival circuit and taking home more than a few awards along the way. The short was recently put on Vimeo on Demand with the money going to plant trees through the Canopy Project. However, on this day when we celebrate all things good for the planet, Mighty Coconut has partnered with Earth Day Network to release the film for free.
Oh, look at that, the film is embedded below!
If you liked "The Oceanmaker," you can also watch Mighty Coconut's previous short, "Pigeon: Impossible."
