Kickstart Your Wednesday with 'Bad Guy #2'

Chris McInroy 'goredy' celebrates the under-underling

In the hierarchy of scum and villainy, there's the Big Boss, there's the chief bad guy/henchman/ne'er-do-well assistant, and then there's … Bad Guy #2.

Chris McInroy wants to give that latter character his moment in the spotlight, hence this short film, produced by Berndt Mader (5 Time Champion) and Ben Steinbauer (Winnebago Man). He's already got cast on board, including Kirk Johnson as the eponymous bad guy (note: spelled the same, though not pronounced like Ricky Gervais' character in the forthcoming Muppets sequel), Will Elliott as Badguy #3 (bless his heart), and Sam Eidson as Right Hand Man.

All of this is not in any way to disparage the valiant efforts of McInroy's 6-year-old daughter, Chloe, who agreed to stand in for the entire cast – and draw the climactic demise of one character – for her dad's Kickstarter campaign. She's great and all, but a gory comedy – "goredy," if you will – demands just a little a whole helluva lot more fake bloodshed.

See her performance for yourself in the video below, or go straight to the campaign page here to check out a teaser from the film, rewards for backers, and a really gnarly blood-splatter GIF.

The campaign ends tomorrow morning, so if you're going to help them make their $10,000 goal, you'd better hurry.
