Trailer Park Has a 'Hangover'

By Monica Riese, April 12, 2013, 2:30pm, Picture in Picture

All throughout the South by Southwest Film Festival, we brought you daily posts of trailers to help you plan your day. Now, it's not every week we have 140 features in town to promote and fawn over, but a few exciting developments have hit the interwebs in the last few days that we thought might warrant a return to … the Trailer Park.

Elysium

Matt Damon stars as a bionic man trying to escape hell on Earth and get to the utopia in the sky known as Elysium. With writer/director Neill Blomkamp (District 9) at the helm, we're pretty sure this one won't disappoint. Official release date: Aug. 9.

Filth

James McAvoy takes his acting career in a decidedly different direction from such previous credits as Gnomeo & Juliet, X-Men: First Class, and Atonement with Filth, directed by John S. Baird. He stars as Bruce, a highly corrupt police officer in the U.K. And by "highly corrupt," we mean: This trailer is rated 18-and-up for drugs, nudity, sex, language, and pretty much anything else you can think of. So, yeah, mature audiences only.

The Hangover: Part III

In other licentious news, the boys from the Hangover series are back for the last part of the trilogy. This trailer is for immature audiences only.
