There has always been plenty to love about the Blanton Museum of Art.

But for film lovers, there's now one more really good reason to visit.

Earlier this month, the museum announced it would start a new film series, Screenings at the Blanton. And now, opening night is upon us.

Tomorrow's screening, the inaugural film in the series, will be director Henri-Georges Clouzot's Le mystère Picasso, which documents Picasso's creative process. Conveniently, the Blanton's current exhibition, Through the Eyes of Texas: Masterworks From Alumni Collections, also includes several pieces of Picasso's work.

Stay tuned for more information on the rest of the screening series, which is slated to include Portrait of Wally (April 6), Gerhard Richter Painting (July 18), and Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry (Aug. 15).

Le mystère Picasso screens tomorrow (Saturday, March 23), 1pm, at the Blanton Museum of Art.
