AFS Hosts 'True Grit' Sneak Peek
The Coen Brothers' update to screen at Paramount Dec. 15

True Grit, the Coen Brothers' new Western that was shot around Austin and at Austin Studios, doesn't open nationally until Dec. 22, but Austin gets a sneak peek next week.
The film, which stars Matt Damon, Jeff Bridges, Josh Brolin, and newcomer Hailee Steinfeld, will screen at the Paramount Theatre on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 7pm. AFS members get first crack at tickets from Dec. 7 10am to Dec. 8, 5:30pm – go to the Austin Film Society site for more info. The general public can secure tickets starting Dec. 9 at noon from the Paramount Theatre box office. Ticket price also includes entrance to an afterparty at the Belmont. Eye patches encouraged.
