Riddle Me This
GOP rep shows the importance of education (the hard way)
By Richard Whittaker, 4:13PM, Sat. Sep. 5, 2009
Every other reactionary has chimed in on Pres. Obama's back-to-school speech. It was only a matter of time until Rep. Debbie Riddle, R-Tomball, chimed in. Cue press release:
"RIDDLE TO CONSTITUENTS: YOU CHILDREN DO NOT HAVE TO HEAR OBAMA'S SPEECH."So, is Riddle calling her constituents children, or does she just not understand the possessive pronoun?
Considering this press release, received on Sept. 5, was dated September 9, 2009, maybe it's just that grammar has changed in the future.
