Fun Fun Fun Fest’s lineup dropped in July, so those interested have had two full months to decide whether or not to invest in three-day passes. This morning, Transmission Events released the music festival’s daily landings.

From this vantage point, the three-day breakdown favors Friday for hip-hop (Snoop Dogg, Bonobo, Lupe Fiasco, Big Freedia, and New York punk upstarts Ratking), as well as fans of legitimate hardcore (Flag, Quicksand, Death Grips). Saturday’s strong for those who prefer vintage indie rock (Television, Sparks, Thurston Moore’s Chelsea Light Moving) and punk (Descendents, Judge).

There’s plenty each day to bring single-day ticket holders out, plus those hankering for some Ice-T will certainly want to formulate their plans around the Saturday lineup, which features the longtime “Cop Killer” performing two sets, a hip-hop run on the Blue stage and a set with Nineties metal-rap titans Body Count.

Also worth noting is Slayer, which headlined the 2011 festival, and is again slated for Sunday. The thrash institution’s the biggest name on closing day. Other headliners include MGMT, Dismemberment Plan, Jurassic 5, and Del tha Funky Homosapien’s Deltron 3030, all of whom don’t quite stack up to the mighty metallurgists.

That begs the question as to whether Transmission plans to grant the band the entire Orange stage once again to close things out. Presently, Slayer’s listed on the Black stage, but the same designation went down in 2011 before a late change transferred them to the festival’s largest setting.

Full rundown here. One-day passes run $79 and go on sale Friday at 10am. The Fun Fun Fun’s only eight weeks away.
