Wednesday Rewind

Dale Watson & the Texas Two – drummer Mike Bernal and bassist Chris Crepps – filmed a video for every song on the The Sun Sessions. Contrary to OTR's expectation, the idea didn't come from the success of his Tiger Airways protest on YouTube.

"It was kind of the other way around," said Watson. "We had already done two or three videos when that incident happened. We were already in the swing of things, so we just worked that in."

Likewise, last week's cover star, Scott H. Biram, is rolling out a new video for Bad Ingredients on a weekly basis. His latest, "Just Another River," directed by Judd Films, finds the one-man band appropriately down in the swamps. You can catch him at Scoot Inn on Saturday.
