The Log Cabin Republicans find refuge with Texas Democrats, Anita Bryant does the world a favor, and a convention in Fort Worth goes topsy-turvy, as your AggreGAYtor calls all the revolutionary betches.

The Good

Austin City Council LGBTQ candidates are getting a party, and it’s tonight.

The University of North Texas is featuring an exhibit on Texas LGBTQ history, with groovy online galleries; the NYC LGBT Center does likewise.

After being spurned by Texas Republicans (again) the Log Cabin Republicans have been invited to the Texas Democratic Convention.

Anita Bryant’s awful art has been removed from public view.

The Bad

British nationals can now get married on Russian soil, while Russians continue to be arrested.

The Fugly

Despite news to the contrary, Texas Republicans are rallying in opposition to LGBTQ civil rights (counter-petition here). In other news, they’re now incorporating harmful quack therapy into their platform.

Florida’s attorney general asserts that same-sex marriage would “impose significant harm.”
