Bottom Pride: A Deeper Love, Part 1
Is it really better to "give" than to "receive"?

The title may titillate, but "safety" is the safe word of the day. Curious? Bring your ass on down to The Q Wednesday, Jan. 29.
The Q will host a discussion called "Empowered Bottom: Bring Glory to Your Hole" for gay, bi, and queer men on the beauty of being a bottom. Co-moderators Michael Lukenbill and Jeremy von Stilb seek to create an open conversation with attendees about their experiences while offering techniques to help negotiate safer sex with their partners.
Things get a little more performative in the second half, when the moderators present their "It's Your Hole, Take Control" PSA campaign. Guests are invited to read from prepared scripts and star (that's right, darlings, star!) in safe-sex videos designed to empower fellow bottoms. The lights, camera, and action will be followed by refreshments, "bottom-friendly snacks (kale chips!)," and off-script banter with fellow guests.
They say it's better to give than to receive, but Lukenbill and von Stilb are out to show that "receiving" is its own form of giving. Werk!
"EMPOWERED BOTTOM: Bring Glory to Your Hole" takes place on Wednesday, January 29, 7:30pm, at The Q, 3408 West Avenue
