The Good

• Athletes in Russa fight back with a kiss-in on the podium and rainbow nails, as Stephen Fry and David Cameron have a secret pub summit to throw some shade on Putin for what Russia’s Sports Minister considers an “invented problem.” Meanwhile various dastardly plots are hatched to protest at the Olympics.

• Prop 8 has been rejected, again. Condragulations, California!

• The San Francisco Chronicle has a really good article on transitioning students.

The Bad

• California churches can discriminate in marriage any way they choose, but maybe they’ll eventually do it less frequently.

• Cameroon responds to anti-gay violence by telling the rest of the world to shut up about it already.

• Russian fascists continue filming their attacks on gay and trans citizens.

The Fugly

• Fox News Channel thinks DADT should be put back in place, that all Christians are and should be anti-gay, and that our military is at war against Christianity. The kicker is at 3:46.

• Bill O’Reilly is totally cool with transgender people, as long as he doesn’t actually have to think about gender.

• This guy is very confused about transgender folks and bathrooms, and this guy thinks California’s new law is about giving eight year olds the right to “ogle.”
