It gets uglier in Russia, it gets better for trans veterans, and it gets weirder in organized religion as your AggreGAYtor negotiates the dialectic.

The Good

The Bad

  • Remember when Stalinist censorship and repression ruled the day in Russia? You know, before freedom? It’s back. And it’s mean.

  • We aren’t sure what to make of the rumors of a “gay lobby at the Vatican,” but we’re fairly certain it involves fabulous frescoes. And maybe a water feature.

The Fugly

  • The Southern Baptist Convention breaks up with the Boy Scouts of America. Weird how a denomination of independent churches based partly on the rejection of hierarchical authority can act so authoritarian, innit?

It Came from the Tubes

  • Disillusioned by recent news in the Catholic and/or Protestant worlds? Maybe you should say “Hebbo!” to Tarvu.
