Coming Out of the Closet Over the Holidays Makes More Room for Presents, Jodie
A second Coming Out Day of sorts, on Christmas so many closet doors are flung wide open.

Raise your hand if you have a holiday story regarding coming out. Raise the other hand if one of those stories happened this year.
Okay, now put your hands down. You'll want to click some links.
Our favorite coming out tale of the holiday season is hands-down, Jodie Foster.
We realized (after the ironic holiday-long cleaning of our own walk-in – literally, not metaphorically ) that almost the entire holiday season went by and we hadn't yet weighed in on the news that One. Of. Our. Very. Favorite. Actresses. Ever. Ever. Ever. Ever. had finally acknowledged what we'd hoped she would for so very long.
Awww, Jodie! (Swoon.) Even when she wouldn't, we forgave her. We always hoped she would, and figured when she did, it would be with incredible style and grace.
Speaking of style and grace, indignation gives way to forgiveness in this story by Washington Note blogger Steve Clemmons (of the New America Foundation) about the high holy hypocrisy surrounding the coming out tale of a close soldier friend.
To lighten the mood, check this poofy little ditty from the London Gay Men's Choir.
C'mon out. It can feel real good.
