You’ve been waiting all year – hungrily watching for any sign of the return of the Austin Food + Wine Festival and all hundreds of bites that you will get to eat over a long weekend. Just when you thought your patience would run out, AFWF announced that tickets go on sale at 10am today.
The Wine and Food Foundation of Texas’ annual Big Reds & Bubbles is all about sexy wines like W & J Graham's 2000 Vintage Port, Yalumba’s 2010 Signature Cabernet Sauvignon-Shiraz , and Gloria Ferrer’s 2005 Royal Cuvee. But you already knew that when you bought your ticket. What you didn’t know is what you would be nibbling between those sips.
The fall food event calendar is already packed with plenty of tasty options. These parties don't even take place until October and November, but they'll sell out long before that. Make plans and buy tickets now so as not to miss the fun.
What will you be doing on the evening of August 6?

B. Making a dream collage with old issues of the Chronicle?
C. Creating a puff paint portrait of Fetty Wap? (Admittedly, that would be kind of awesome.)
