COTA Fan Fest: F1 off the Tracks

4 reasons to go to COTA Fan Fest

This weekend 235,000 racing fans from around world will pack the stands of Circuit of the Americas for the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix.

While the roaring engines provide hours of fun for F1 enthusiasts, COTA wants all of Austin to get in on the action. Here's a rundown of what to expect off the tracks:

1. Free Shows

This year the Rainey Street Bud Light Stage hosts a variety of performers:

Thursday: Elle King and Trombone Shorty at 8:20pm.

Friday: Money Chicha, Ozomatli and Mayer Hawthorne at 7pm.

Saturday: Holiday Mountain, A-Trak and Public Enemy at 7pm.

2. Fan Forum

Current F1 stars like Alexander Rossi, Felipe Massa, Nico Hulkenberg and more will answer fans questions and sign autographs at the Rainey Street Bud Light Stage.

3. Official Downtown Venues

Hear music from local groups at spots like Banger's Sausage House, Mohawk, Continental Club and The Belmont. Performers include Boss Street Brass Band, Dana Falconberry, The Holy Child and more. View the full schedule and lineup here.

4. The Senna Hall of Fame Collection

COTA has curated a unique collection of Ayrton Senna's personal effects from his entire Formula 1 career. There rare collection will be on display at the Downtown Paddock, 304 E. Cesar Chavez Street.
