Cultural Cancellations and Postponements: The Big List

What's not happening around Austin, arts-wise

As noted elsewhere on this site, Austinites are wasting no time in taking their art online, making sure you have performances to watch and exhibits to view while you wait out the period necessary for us to be safe. Yes, most everything is canceled now, but you may have questions about when or if some arts happenings are coming back. Well, we have answers.

The Chronicle has been collecting all of the official notices we've received about closings, cancellations, and postponements in all of the cultural areas we regularly inform you about in our Arts listings. Some businesses and organizations have already moved their offerings online (and we're sharing them as soon as we learn about them); some have canceled events that were previously announced as happening; some have already rescheduled events from this spring to summer and fall. We've noted them here so you can make adjustments in your calendar, and we'll update them as more information comes in. For ease of reference, the list is organized under the same headings as our regular listings.
