It's Ha Ha Ha! With the Fun Fun Fun!

Cubas and Barbadoro in the comedy lineup

Left: Cubas. Right: Barbadoro.
Left: Cubas. Right: Barbadoro.

We love it when we've had the good sense to recognize talent before it blows up like Godzilla.

And that's the least of the reasons we're, ah, stoked by the news of Kath Barbadoro and Chris Cubas, interviewed here a few months ago, being among the locals on the comedy stage of this fall's Fun Fun Fun Fest.

Yes, that's right.

And Kat Ramzinksi's gonna be part of it, too, and – hell, they're even dragging Seth Cockfield briefly back to the ATX from his palatial, tree-lined estate in the heart of Brooklyn.

And Ramin Nazer.
And Jake Flores.
And, OMG, DUNCAN CARSON!!! *fans self*

A few others, too, yeah.

Makes perfect sense to us, all of it … but, damn, people –
why not the entire fucking hive of Sandstone dwellers and alumni?

So, anyway. Yeah. Fun Fun Fun Fest.

Because if we didn't mention it, why, you'd completely forget it even existed.

No, no. Please, don't thank us.

Shucks, now.

You know your Austin Chronicle is merely a force for good in its time.
