East Side Dandies Squirrel Nut Zippers Graham Reynolds WHAT?

Not to mention the Whiskey Sage mixologists

Just a little somethin' to wash the fancy noms down with, darling.

Oh, hell yes.

It's called Salon Vanguard,
and it's a swanky, jazz-styled party
of old-timey libations & a whole catered feast,
with live music from the East Side Dandies
(featuring Westen Borghesi of the White Ghost Shivers
and the Squirrel Nut Zippers' Reese Gray)
and Graham Reynolds & his percussive 88s,
and so on like that for a night of posh revelry
among the elegant polished-wood interiors
& verdant landscaping of Eponymous Garden.

This was one of our favorite events of 2010,
and now it returns, sharper than before & as enjoyable as ever,
with proceeds going to benefit Salvage Vanguard Theater.

It's like the perfect romantic date at a fine restaurant, srsly,
except that it's also got entertainment you'll not soon forget
and it's likely less of a dent to your culinary-based love-budget:
$60 per couple ($40, single tickets).

On a Tuesday night, no less!

(Yes, that's right, we said "love-budget."
Surely you set aside some simeoleons for wooing?
Surely it's not only Chester Brown who has a "love-budget," right?)

Here's a chance to impress your significant other
(or the one that you'd like to be more significant of an other)
or just treat yourself to a night among the fashionable folks feasting & frolicking in fierce finery.

Alliteration not required; jacket optional; hell, you might even win an iPad.
