For his painting Washington on the Delaware, Emanuel Leutze used the Rhine, not the Delaware, as the basis for the scene.

Elastic-waist trunks were designed in 1925 by Jacob Golomb, founder of Everlast, to replace the leather-belted trunks boxers wore. These "boxer trunks" immediately became famous, but were later eclipsed by Jockey-style briefs in the late Thirties.

Eating biscuits triggers the same pleasure center in the brain as cocaine. But biscuits are not physically addictive, although we are hard-wired to seek out sweet, yummy-tasting things.

Goats have good balance. Cloven hooves help.
