Gay Place: Another Splash Bash

By Kate X Messer, June 15, 2012, Columns

Austin has a storied history of swim parties for the swimmingly faaaaabulous. But how about the comfort zones of those in the LGBTQIA spectrum who don't feel quite as frisky in that gold lamé banana hammock from International Male – or who do, but would rock it that much harder with just a li'l encouragement and safety in numbers? Well, it's time for another Queer Swim, this time at Barton Springs Pool (Saturday, June 16). And if this one is anything like the last one at Krause Springs ... well, remember that scene in Caddyshack when the caddies take over the pool? That's what we're talkin' about! Hey, everybody! We're all gonna get laid!
