THE LADY GENESIS We won't lie: The Ballad of Genesis and Lady Jaye knocked us for a loop. It's a tender journey up through the entrails of an underground love – a big three-way affair between Throbbing Gristle/Psychic TV icon Genesis Breyer P-Orridge; her wife, the Lady Jaye Breyer P-Orridge; and the camera. Seeing the legendary Psychic TV live at Elysium Tuesday night just put it all into a cozy (no, not a Chris & Cozey) frame. We've got a dithering blog post up about it in all its rock fury. Seriously, this new version of the band seems so happy just to be playing together onstage and so happy to be honoring the memory of Lady Jaye. Oh, we're giving away waaaaay too much. Tomorrow you have one last chance to see the film: Friday, March 18, 9pm, Alamo Ritz 1.

SPRINGTIME IN PEREZ It's on. The grand put-up-your-dukes of online gossip himself, Perez Hilton, will host Perez Hilton's One Night in Austin. We'll begin populating this li'l blurb over the next few dailies with the news we learn of the lineup. Right now, we are stoked for Denmark's Oh Land, slated to be on the bill. It's invite only, and you must RSVP. Check his site. Dang. Saturday, March 19, 6pm. ACL Live at Moody Theater, 310 W. Second. www.perezhilton.com/paustinhilton sxsw2011.

VEGANS, BOOTAYS, GOTHS, JEWS, AND A SLUT Today and tonight's sched is all over the marginal population map. We're only gonna go over this once, so listen up:

• Christeene tears up le Shannn Dreeeev – that's what we call the Chain Drive. It's French for "leather bar." Thursday, March 17, 4:30pm. Chain Drive, 504 Willow, 480-9017. www.christeene.org.
