After a Fashion
This week is all about Austin's best regular fashion show: Club DeVille!

CLUB DEVILLE It is the best, the most fun fashion show of all -- every time. Hosted by the always-wonderful Emily Fawcett and the gorgeous Joel Mozersky, the Fall Fashion Extravaganza dazzled the eye and entertained the crowd like no other fashion show in town. Shiki was a standout, with wonderful clothes -- as always -- and their models have never looked better, thanks to the hair and make-up from Norbert Lemke and Maris Stella Ostrewich's crew from Jose Eber (including the divine Tolbert). Legs Diamond kept the show rocking, even if I did get a black eye from the models throwing candy from the runway, and the girls from Therapy looked great with their hair and make-up by Wet. To the models from New Bohemia, I offer a humble apology for behaving badly while they performed. It was great to see first-time entry Gomi on the runway, and Flipnotics also proved again that they know how to put on a great show. Of course Blackmail was amazing -- their models are the best -- especially Amanda Mellard, whom, it grieves me to say, is taking her unique loveliness to live in North Carolina. I will forever remember her as the girl with the Annie Lennox eyes. Goodbye, Amanda, we'll miss you terribly. And to everyone involved with the Club DeVille show, good work again.
