Come Chronicle Redesign Time (the issue of Sept. 14), "PN" will be going the ways of the ol' Apato-, Brachio-, Corytho-, and Tyrannosauruses. Yup, lumbering to Extinct-o-ville by way of the comet of progress, the drought of column inch, and that dratted general "survival of the fittest" dealio. Fret not, sweet fans.
