HIV Wellness Center Offering October Healing Breath Course

The HIV Wellness Center and the Art of Living Foundation are collaborating to bring this life-enhancing course to all people living with HIV/AIDS, their partners, and caregivers. The Healing Breath Basic Course will be offered October 23-28 at the HIV Wellness Center.

A free introductory talk and meditation will be held on Thursday, September 28, at 7pm. Sing, laugh, dance, meditate! Learn more about the profound benefits of the breath in strengthening the immune system, infusing your system with life-supporting energy, and its ability to bring harmony and provide lasting transformation physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. This is a very special course that combines the ancient wisdom with the science of the breath in order to:

• Release stress along with toxins that build from unreleased emotions, impressions, fear, and anxiety.

• Strengthen the immune system.

• Improve mental clarity, focus, and develop creativity.

• Infuse your system with life-supporting energy.

• Quiet and relax the mind to develop true inner calm and peace.

• Reduce depression and renew enthusiasm for life.

• Renew the playfulness and joy which is your true nature.

The Art of Living program offers simple yet profound techniques, and people throughout the world report that it has brought about lasting transformation in overall health and well-being physically, mentally, and spiritually. Courses are taught in over 100 countries today, and research has been conducted on the benefits of this course, not only to those with HIV/AIDS, but the benefits it provides for people who are part of the support system for those who suffer from chronic illness.

The full course fee is $150, although a sliding scale fee is available. Please do not let the cost of the course keep you from learning lifelong skills to peace and happiness.

Call the HWC at 349-2267 to register or for more information. Additional program information may be had also at The Art of Living Foundation Web site at www.ArtOfLiving.org.
