Public Notice
"Public Notice" is the sassy yet totally sincere public service column of the Austin Chronicle. This week is Part Two of a list of community groups that need YOU! (Part One ran last week.)

Volunteer Opportunities
Hey! Look at this li'l bit of kismetic coincidence: We've been so busy, we barely even noticed that now, as we are running our Volunteer Opportunities, we are hot on the heels of the upcoming National Volunteer Week, April 9-15, 2000! Also fortunate is the timing of Mitzvah Day, Sun, Apr 9, community service day when Jewish congregations across Austin join together and reach out to the community: to both serve and encourage service. Register to help online at http://www.bethisrael.org or in-person at Congregations Beth Israel and Agudas Achim. Also, donations will be accepted for the Mitzvah Day Collection Drive at Congregation Beth Israel or at the Dell Jewish Community Campus. Cool! 454-6806 or 331-1144.
