For Fear the Glass May Shatter

This operatic show explores the science and struggle around Nobel Prize-winning physicist Wolfgang Pauli, exploring themes of scientific criticism, competition and collaboration, concern for reputation, the social and personal politics of war, and the role of women in science and culture. Conceived and written by David DeMaris, developed through workshops with the cast and musical collaborator Emily Breedlove, this complex spectacle is directed by Bonnie Cullum for the Vortex Repertory Company. Note: The show's also part, for three nights, of Fusebox Festival. Through April 18. Thu.-Sun., 8pm. $10-30.
