Subtitled "A Troubling Turn on Shakespeare's Macbeth," here's the latest from Trouble Puppet Theatre Company, the bunraku professionals who've brought us fantastic adaptations of Upton Sinclair's The Jungle, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Russell Hoban's Riddley Walker, and more. This dark and bloody tale is adapted and directed by Connor Hopkins – with music by Graham Reynolds, lighting by Stephen Pruitt, sound design by Buzz Moran, and imagery by Chris Owen – for a classically twisted night of ghosts, witches, and murder most foul. (Pro tip: Ask about their opening-night special.) Oct. 31-Nov. 18. Wed.-Sat., 8pm; Sun., 6pm. $10-25.
