Texas Stars

The Stars ended the season with the best record in the American Hockey League after a 13-game win streak. Now it's time to continue down the road to another Calder Cup championship. Team alternate captain Travis Moran continues to dominate, finishing the season with the most points and assists of any player in the league. Rookie Curtis McKenzie also finished on the Top 10 points earners list. The Stars have won the first two games against the eighth-seeded Oklahoma City Barons. Game three (and four and five if necessary) will be at home. It's a long road before they hold that cup over their heads, and missteps can easily mean elimination, so get out there and make sure you've got their backs. Wed., April 30, 7:30pm (2014). $18-49.
