Troy Andrews’ explosive love and funk affair with Austin is preserved in a July 2010 Austin City Limits taping just prior to the PBS flagship assuming its Downtown digs. There, the New Orleans/Tremé ’bone phenom has aired both his major label brass tacks, last year’s For True following up 2010’s Backatown with slicker R&B but still hooks aplenty (“Mrs. Orleans”).
