Bridge Farmers, The Blind Pets, Dixie Witch, Eagle Claw

Sat., Dec. 15, 2012

Holy Mountain

617 E. Seventh, 512/391-1943

In its first Austin show since returning from tour with the Sword, instrumental thrashers Eagle Claw unleash a barrage of long, wieldy metal compositions at drummer Bart Butler’s home turf – Seventh Street hangout Holy Mountain. Expect the local quartet’s second full-length Timing of the Void served as the main course. Southwestern stonemasons Dixie Witch provide support, along with fellow scenesters Blind Pets, a grunge & roll trio swaggering with sturdy melodies. Bridge Farmers open. – Kevin Curtin
