  • LOOP MASS

This ambitious installation project from the Austin Museum of Digital Art incorporates motion work from more than 50 visual artists, featuring looped videos projection-mapped onto a massive floor-to-ceiling suspended sculpture, thereby creating an activated environment for musical performances by Austin-based composers Justin Sherburn, Matt Steinke, Kyle Evans, and Zac Traeger. Gonna be exceedingly strange and beautiful, we reckon, both the visuals and the audio. Is it legal for us to recommend that you indulge in some substance or other beforehand, then check this out for a couple of hours and be like, "Whoa, fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck," and cherish the memory forever? Because that's what we're thinking. Aug. 26-27. Fri.-Sat., 8pm, $15
