The Paramount kicks off its Paramount 100 series with this look at the Nickelodeon era during the dawn of cinema. Sticking with the theme, admission is only a nickel. Included in the 90-minute program are Edison and Lumière Shorts (1894-1897), Georges Méliès' "A Trip to the Moon" (1902), "The Great Train Robbery" (1903), D.W. Griffith shorts (1909-1913), and shorts featuring Max Linder, the Keystone Kops, Winsor McCay and His Moving Comics, and others. 5¢ admission
