REVIEWED By Marjorie Baumgarten, Wed., Dec. 27, 2000
Set in Buenos Aires and co-written by the director and David Koepp, Apartment Zero is a psychological drama that is part black comedy and part erotic thriller. The story revolves around the relationship that develops between an introverted film buff and his mysterious and omnisexual new roommate. Their obsessive relationship is fused with sexual tension, and the story touches on matters both personal and political, as well as icons of gay film history.
