REVIEWED By Marjorie Baumgarten, Thu., July 13, 2000
Millie Perkins embarked on a career a bad performances with her debut in this story of an adolescent Jewish girl who hides with her family in Amsterdam during WWII. Shelley Winters, on the other hand, won a best-supporting-actress Oscar for her work in this picture. The Anne Frank saga remains moving, personal, and relavant, no matter how distant we become in time.
