The Owl and the Pussycat

The Owl and the Pussycat

Directed by Herbert Ross. Starring Barbara Streisand, George Segal, Robert Klein, Allen Garfield. (1971, PG, 95 min.)

REVIEWED By Marjorie Baumgarten, Thu., May 11, 2000

A sensible double bill with Born Yesterday, the story is about a streetwise prostitute and a sheltered intellectual. Streisand is very funny in this reworking of a Broadway success, adapted for the screen by Buck Henry.
