POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER. Follow the allure of bright colors in the sky; and when you arrive, try not to feel overwhelmed by the onslaught of kite demonstrations, contests, choreographed sky dances, and so much more. And for you souls out there lacking kites, don't worry; you can learn to make your very own flying marvel in one of the many hands-on workshops. There will also be a kite doctor on hand to help repair any damage. Free parking and $2 shuttles at the Downtown state parking lot (1604 E. Colorado) and the Toney Burger Center (3200 Jones). (In the event of rain the event will be pushed back a week.) Sun., March 2, (2014). Free.
