Museum Day

As if it's not enough that almost 40 local museums dispense with their usual admission fees, most locations will have guided tours of exhibits and/or crafts for the kids. Play I Spy at Women & Their Work, make a clay figure at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden, dig for fossils at the Natural Science Center, and learn all about space junk at the Texas State History Museum. Those are just drops in a big bucket of arty awesomeness to fill your Sunday. Sun., Sept. 23, (2012).
